NBA 2K LEAGUE REVEALS 198 PLAYERS VYING FOR 74 SPOTS AT THE 2019 NBA 2K LEAGUE DRAFT TOMORROW

NEW YORK,  March 4, 2019 – The NBA 2K League today announced the pool of 198 players who will be eligible for the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft taking place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 5, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.   All 21 teams will complete their six-person roster at the four-round draft, which will begin at 5 p.m. ET and will be livestreamed on the league’s  Twitch  channel. Jr. NBA All-Star (2011) Thirdy Ravena engages the National Training Camp participants of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 presented by Alaska on their first training day with NBA player Willie Cauley-Stein of the Sacramento Kings. The league’s global youth basketball participation program for boys and girls that teaches fundamental skills and the core values of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, a positive Attitude and Respect, is now in the process of selecting the newest All-Stars of Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 presented by Alaska. Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 Continues Search for Talented Young Ballers Nationwide

Jr. NBA coaches led by Coach Carlos Barroca were assisted by 2016 Jr. NBA All-Star and Alaska Ambassador Julian Alfonso Jugo who facilitated drills at various skills stations of the Jr. NBA Regional Selection Camp.   More than 1,100 young ballers aged 10-14 from the North Luzon region travelled to Benguet State University to showcase their skills and secure a slot in the National Training Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 presented by Alaska from May 18-20.    Jugo shared his valuable experience with the Jr. NBA aspirants, inspiring the campers to excel on and off the court. The fourth and final Regional Selection Camp this year will be staged April 21-22 at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati, Metro Manila.

21 Youth to Represent NCR in Jr.NBA Philippines 2017 National Training Camp

Eight boys and thirteen girls will represent Metro Manila during the Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska National Training Camp on May 12-14 at the Don Bosco Technical Institute and SM Mall of Asia. Over 1,300 young players ages 10-14 years old participated in the fourth and final Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA program held this weekend at Don Bosco Makati. The 1,333 campers --1,208 boys and 125 girls -- came from schools in Antipolo, Mandaluyong, Manila, Makati, Batangas, Palawan, Mindoro and Iloilo. Last Regional Selection Camp for Jr.NBA Philippines 2017 Presented by Alaska at Don Bosco Makati this Weekend

The fourth and last regional selection camp for Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska will be held at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Makati on Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2, 2017 starting at 9 a.m. This is the last chance for young ballers in the NCR and other provinces to participate in the National Basketball Association’s youth development program that has been touring different key cities and towns since January this year. Boys and girls aged 10 to 14 are invited to participate in the learn-and-achieve camp that will test their physical and basketball smarts through NBA style skills tests and basketball drills. They will also learn the STAR values of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, a positive Attitude and Respect. Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska holds its regional selection camp for the Visayas this weekend at Don Bosco Technology Center at Pleasant Homes Subdivision, Buhisan Rd., Cebu City from March 11 to 12, 2017. Boys and girls aged 10 to 14 are invited to participate in a learn-and-achieve camp that will test their physical and basketball smarts through NBA style skills tests and basketball drills. The two-day selection camp starts at 9 a.m. on March 11, with the final selection of Visayan finalists to be announced on March 12. This is the sixth time that the Jr. NBA is staging its Regional Selection Camp in Cebu.
