With the entire international martial arts community agog over ONE Championship’s star-studded card in Singapore on Friday, 18 May, the promotion struck a monumental deal ahead of its much-awaited live event by announcing its partnership with Singapore Exchange (SGX). The joint venture between ONE Championship and SGX was formally announced at a press conference, which happened on Wednesday, 16 May at the SGX Centre in Singapore. Filipino Boxer Michael "Gloves on Fire" Dasmarinas Wins IBO Bantamweight World Title at Ringstar's 'Roar of Singapore IV'

Ringstar Boxing, Asia’s fastest growing sports media property, which has now reached an overwhelming broadcast footprint of over a potential billion viewers across the globe, just had its very successful ‘Roar of Singapore IV - The Night of Champions’, held last weekend at the 10,000-seater Singapore Indoor Stadium. Pinoy Boxer Michael Dasmarinas Gears up for his IBO World Title Fight on April

Filipino boxer Michael “Hot & Spicy” Dasmarinas, gears up for the biggest fight of his life, as he goes for an IBO world championship title on April 20, 2018, at Ringstar Boxing’s ‘Roar of Singapore IV - The Night of Champions’, to be held at the 10,000-seater Singapore Indoor Stadium. Dasmarinas currently ranked 12th best boxer in the world by WBC, will go up against French boxer Karim Guerfi, who is currently ranked 4th by WBC.  The fight is also touted by the Singapore promoter as the main event of the evening and will draw much international attention to the Camarines Sur-native. Pinoy Boxer Michael Dasmarinas Wins at Suntec Singapoore at his Debut Fight for Ringstar Boxing

Filipino boxer Michael “Hot & Spicy” Dasmarinas, lived up to his monicker and spiced up the evening at Ringstar Boxing’s ‘The Roar of Singapore III’, held at Suntec Convention & Exhibition in Singapore last weekend. Michael knocked out his Thai opponent, Phupha Por Nobnom, in the second round of the supposed 6-round IBO undercard bantamweight division fight.   Dasmarinas says, “I am thankful to all those who helped me win this fight.  To my friends, manager, my family, thank you to all of you.  This is for all of you.” Michael’s story of hardships as a young child were shared previously in Philippine media and got him a lot of attention, with CNN Philippines Anchor Mico Halili, even suggesting that his next monicker as he becomes a bigger fighter should be “Gloves on Fire”, since he had a story that his gloves were burned when he was 9-years old by a family member, who did not want him to get into the sport which is ironically, his bread and butter now.
