World Series of Fighting - Global Championship Adds Two Malaysian Organizations Including its First Kickboxking and Kickboxing League

LAS VEGAS, NV  June 3, 2016  World Series of Fighting – Global Championship (WSOF-GC) proudly announced today the addition of its tenth MMA affiliate, Malaysia’s Jesselton Fight League (JFL), to match its ten-sided decagon. The bigger news may be that they have now expanded beyond the realm of MMA and have added their first kickboxing and boxing promotion as well, Malaysia’s STAND. Jesselton Fight League and STAND join WSOF-GC’s first Southeast Asia promotion, Underground Battle MMA in Philippines.

Owner and Promoter of JFL & STAND, Rayner Kinsiong, states, "The mission of JFL and STAND is to groom young talent at the grassroots level. We want to give the youth of Malaysia the opportunity to pursue their dreams to compete in martial arts. For us, it is about building heroes both in and out of the cage and ring."

"This is a fantastic opportunity for Malaysia MMA to build a strong foundation for the future with Jesselton Fighting League,” proclaims Zachary ‘Bootsy’ Harris, WSOF-GC Affiliate Coordinator. “Meanwhile, STAND now holds a historic distinction as the first non-MMA organization to join the Global Family."

“Global Championship is the international brand of the World Series of Fighting, not just MMA,” said WSOF-GC President, Shawn Wright. “Yes, MMA is what we are most recognized for, but our fans love all combat sports. It was only a matter of time before we added a kickboxing or boxing promotion. UGB-MMA paved the way for this when they introduced the world to Juego Todo matches back in March. Our promotion in Argentina, ULLAMP, is very well known for their fantastic Sanda matches and we hope to showcase some of those soon as well. Both JFL & STAND will pave the way for more organizations to join this ever-growing affiliate league of ours.”

JFL will host their next event on September 24 in Malaysia. JFL’s and STAND’s library of previous events will soon be made available in the WSOF Global Fight Library. MMA fans can watch all of their fights, as well as those from all other affiliates for only $4.99 per month at www.WSOFGC.com.

World Series of Fighting Global’s ultimate mission is to bring together the best athletes from countries and organizations across the world to compete for a true, globally-recognized world champion.
